FLARIS gets Blue Wings
This year’s winners of Blue Wings (Błękitne Skrzydła) – the most prestigious aviation award – are Sylwia and Rafał Ładziński for the design of the world’s smallest jet, Flaris Lar 1.
The Blue Wings award is given annually for the most outstanding achievements in Polish aviation over the past year and for overall contribution to Polish aviation.
The award was presented on Thursday, August 28, 2019, during the Aviation Day celebration in the “Aviator” Hall at the 1st Transport Aviation Base in Warsaw.
The Blue Wings award was established in 1964 by the editors of Skrzydlata Polska. The distinction has been awarded jointly by Skrzydlata Polska and Krajowa Rada Lotnictwa, with the support of the Armed Forces General Command and the Polish Aero Club.
