FLARIS LAR 1 guarantees low fuel consumption, thus reducing travel costs. Flight testing confirmed the unbelievably low fuel consumption cost. With five passengers on board, the cost of fuel is 0,07$/km (or 0,13$/nm) for one person. The operating cost is 450$/h; this includes fuel, aircraft maintenance, replacement parts, and engine TAP BLUE program. Compact but comfortable cabin allowed reduction of the aircraft mass, thus positively influencing the economy and distance of the flight.
