FEATURES 

FLARIS LAR 1 is a single-engine jet aircraft with a very lightweight, composite construction. It creates a new category of small, lightweight jets, ideal for quick movement for any purpose.

SOAR TO A HIGHER LEVEL OF COMFORT

Piloting FLARIS LAR 1 is intuitive. It is apparent in the minimal number of operations, secure stall, and the inclination of the jet to automatically recover from a spin. The jet was developed to be operated by a single pilot (with Garmin G600 Txi radio and navigation system and FFAS® interactive onboard computer acting as a copilot). Just a private pilot license PPL(A) is required to fly FLARIS LAR 1.

REVOLUTIONARY AND ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY AVIATION

FLARIS LAR 1 is one tone lighter than VLJ aircraft and initiates a brand new category of High-Speed Personal Jet. Light construction, extraordinary aerodynamics, and a cutting-edge FJ33-5A engine operated with ECU computer allowed a significant reduction of fuel consumption and exhaust gas emission. All this makes FLARIS LAR 1 friendly to the environment.

COCKPIT 

FLARIS LAR 1 is equipped with reliable Garmin G600 Txi radio and navigation system that acts as copilot and minimizes the number of equipment that would draw the pilot’s attention.

SAFETY 

It is a new type of High Speed Personal Jet aircraft, suitable for amateurs as well as experienced pilots.

LIFT-TO-DRAG RATIO

FLARIS LAR 1 can glide a distance of 18 km without propulsion for every kilometre of height loss. It is thanks to its unique L/D=18 aerodynamic perfection — comparable with that of a glider — and a drop-shaped strong fuselage, massive landing gear. All this allows for landing in unconventional areas.

SAFETY SYSTEM

FLARIS LAR 1 is equipped with a modern parachute rescue system for the whole aircraft.

NAVIGATION SYSTEM

Flaris avionics is a popular G600Txi system providing maximum safety and comfort of the user. GTN-750 navigation system (GPS) is placed in the centre of the dashboard and combines navigating function with operating additional devices, including the radio station and transponder. It is equipped with a touch screen that helps to navigate the user-friendly icon menu.

FUSELAGE 

FLARIS LAR 1 is ultra-light and durable thanks to its hybrid structure: the leading-edge certified pre-impregnated carbon fibres, found in the newest commercial aircraft, e.g. A 350 and Dreamliner. The most vital large elements of the construction (main frames, undercarriage leg, etc.) are made with numerical control technology to ensure the highest durability possible.

POWERPLANT 

The robust, reliable FJ33-5 helps make the Flaris jet safer than other light planes. Turbofan engines are more reliable than piston engines, and the FJ33 turbofan in Flaris is especially reliable due to its mature and robust design. The FJ33 is a direct scale of the larger FJ44 engine family that has accumulated 10,000,000 flight hours, so the engine design has proven to be rugged. The onepiece titanium fan has proven so rugged that Williams International covers foreign object damage (FOO) in its comprehensive maintenance program called TAP Blue.

UNYIELDING QUALITY

 

All parts and labor to maintain the FJ33 engine are provided by Williams International and its
authorized service centers. To further enhance safety, all Flaris engines are covered by Williams lnternational’s Total Assurance Program (TAP Blue). Since TAP Blue provides complete maintenance of the FJ33 engine, and there are no added costs to the customer beyond the feeper-flight-hour, customers are motivated to quickly bring any concern to their FJ33 service center, and to keep all of their engine inspections current.

DESIGN 

FLARIS LAR 1 offers a brand new quality of private transport. The jet owners can create their graphic for the skin of their jet, to fulfil the philosophy of creating a means of personal transportation and highlight the individual character of the aircraft and manifest the owner’s personality.
