The manufacturers of the fastest personal jet, the Flaris Lar 1, continue to develop their aircraft. To keep enhancing its features and operational capabilities, FLARIS has sold 50% of its shares to EDGE Group from the United Arab Emirates, an investor in next-generation technologies. The two companies will establish a joint venture. This joint undertaking will help to convert a manned aircraft into an unmanned system and introduce innovative commercial technologies to the defence industry. This is another huge step in the development of Flaris.

The EDGE Group is one of the world’s leading advanced technology and defence groups, which, combined with Flaris’ expertise in high-precision aerospace engineering, makes this a strategic project for the aircraft’s development.

The innovations resulting from this joint venture, the aircraft and the solutions offered by Flaris will be showcased at the upcoming Dubai Airshow 2023, which will take place from 13 to 17 November. Representatives of both companies will present the conversion of the Flaris manned aircraft to an unmanned model, leveraging autonomous technologies to meet the dynamic needs of modern defence.
