FLARIS at the 51st International Paris Air Show
For the second time we showed our jet at the largest and most important aviation event in the world – the International Air Show in Paris. Just like two years ago FLARIS LAR 1 attracted huge interest. Among the enthusiasts of Flaris are potential buyers.
Our stand was visited by many representatives of the media, business, the political scene, the aviation industry and fans of flying. As a result of these meetings and conversations we signed a contract with Williams International for the supply of Williams FJ33-5A engines for Flaris airplanes and started cooperation talks with Bruce Dickinson, the pilot and lead singer of Iron Maiden. The musician also expressed his intention to purchase a few Flaris airplanes.
This year Flaris was showcased at the Le Bourget airport, outdoors, opposite the press center and near the main pedestrian area. The event was open from June 15 to June 21 and hosted 2400 exhibitors. This is a record number in the history of the show, which started 100 years ago.
