The wing of Flaris has successfully completed strength tests under 100% load. The tests were performed in the laboratory of the Military University of Technology in Warsaw. We are currently conducting further static tests of the plane.

– FLARIS LAR 1 is the world’s first family and business jet which was manufactured using the latest pre-impregnated carbon technology. Thanks to innovative solutions, the structure is exceptionally light-weight and very strong – says Rafał Ładziński, the co-engineer of the FLARIS plane and director of the Flaris project.

FLARIS LAR 1 will make its maiden flight this winter. We are planning to commence production of the first planes next year. Next year we are also planning to obtain S1 certificates for two planes, which will hit the market in the S1 category. In 3 years we intend to obtain EASA and FAA certificates for FLARIS LAR 1.
